On Sunday Ms C said we were going to watch a young girl called Stella [Ms C used to teach her Mum Nicole on School of the Air from Katherine MANY years ago!] play AFL. I was not all that excited as it was cold and windy.......BUT.....
A young girl called Essie was dropped off to come with us to meet her friend Zoe [Stella's sister] at the footy. It was fab having her in the back seat of the car with me. After about 30mins we arrived at a place called Hammond Park and then I met my new bestie - Zoe! Zoe is 9 years old.
Zoe and Essie took me to the park and they gave me the bestest time, sliding down the slide, spinning on the merry go round and other equipment.
I got trapped in the climbing web BUT my new friend Zoe helped me get out safely.
I had lots of fun hanging upside down from the climbing bar.
I just found out though that snakes lived there and was a little worried - thankfully Zoe and Essie kept me safe.
I also went on a giant board that looked to me like a giant seesaw.
I was a bit scared up in the giant tree of flowers but I got used to it.
I also went rock climbing.
Zoe taught me how to do back flips - I was very clever and persisted till I mastered these.
Then of course as we were at the footy I had to have a turn at kicking, Zoe helped me.
I also got to play in the sand and build a sand castle - sooooooo much fun!
Then the game was over and I finally met Stella - she had played a fab game and had been knocked to the ground but got back up again and kept playing.
Then it was time to go and Zoe wanted to come in our car BUT her had to go with her Mum and Ms C would NOT let me go with her - I was a little sad but hoped to see Zoe again later in the week.
