Crossing the Nullabor: 1200kms of straight road connecting Western Australia and South Australia

 

After leaving Kalgoorlie we headed South then East.

We crossed over 1200kms from Norseman to Ceduna over 4 days stopping over 3 nights along the way at Balladonia, Cocklebiddy and then the Nullabor Roadhouse. Some VERY long stretches with not much to see BUT then amazing scenery at the Head of the Australian Bight, Fowlers Bay etc. 

We hoped to see whales as we were advised ‘guaranteed June to September’ BUT alas no signs…maybe the whales were not good to reading the calendar and were not aware it was actually June!
